Twilight Summer Leagues (TSL)

The Twilight Summer League (TSL) is managed and operated by MPS. This is an adult league formally known as the EMMSA (Eastern Mass Men’s Soccer Association). Currently, the League runs the TSL Open League and the TSL Over 30/40 League. In 2011 we hope to introduce TSL Over 50 brackets to the league, giving opportunities to more players to continue to play through the summer season.

High School Prep League
The High School Prep League offers high school players/teams the opportunity to train and play through the Winter and Spring. This league is aimed at those players who do not play club soccer, or cannot commit to club soccer due to being multi-sport athletes. This program can be customized to HS players’ schedules and training/games will be local, convenient and cost a fraction of a typical club fees. MPS can provide a professional, licensed coach to train participating teams in preparation for the Fall High School Season.

School of Excellence League
The MPS School of Excellence League is expanding and accepting external teams into the current developmental format. Upon its inception the league was stricly internal, with over 50 MPS teams competing against each other. In 2009, multiple club teams from Lexington, Winchester and Reading joined league competition.
MPS plans to expand the league further in future years. Games will be held in festival formats bi-weely, where teams will get 2 games per play date. The league costs remain lower than all other MA leagues that compete in the Fall and Spring Seasons. The SOE League is an academy league for U9-U12 teams focused on the development of players in the appropriate game and appropriate numbers-a-side environment.
