MPS Tournaments

2012

The MPS Memorial Day College Showcase is run in conjunction with the Needham Soccer Club. The Tournament has been a great success since its inception. Last year saw a record number of 280+ U15-U19 teams competing with over 180 college coaches in attendance. Each year we see the Showcase Tournament competition level increase and will continue to use the Elite Brackets this year.

MPS Summer Showcase U10-U19

The first annual MPS Summer Showcase will be held at the beautiful Citizens Bank fields in Lancaster, MA for U10 - U19 teams. The event will be held over the July 14th and 15th weekend and is sure to be a success, offering further exposure to college coaches for all of the players in attendance.

MPS has current success with the annual Memorial Day Showcase, in conjunction with Needham Youth Soccer and with our MPS Thanksgiving College Showcase. These two tournaments see over 400 U15-U19 teams and over 300 College Coaches combined.

Through these events we are expecting similar support and high level competition at the Inaugural MPS Summer Showcase and a high number of college coaches to be in attendance.

GPS & Bryant Men’s Soccer Fathers Day Invitational

New for 2012 - GPS brings you the "Fathers Day Invitational" Tournament for U10-U19 Teams on June 16th and 17th, 2012. This inaugural tournament is expected to host over 60 teams with various levels of competitive brackets for both club and town teams. Held at Bryant University in Smithfield, RI this tournament already has a perfect set up for a great "end of season" tournament for all!

In addition the VW Masters will be held as part of the event. The "VW Junior Masters" is an U12 Boys only "world event" with International finals occuring every two years.

MPS and Adidas Beach 5 Sand Soccer Series

MPS in conjuction with Adidas USA are hosting the inaugural Beach 5 Sand Soccer Series at Newport Beach, RI. This will take place in June and will be for all ages - including Adult brackets. Make a weekend of the East Coast Sunshine in this fun and competitive 5v5 Beach Soccer Tournament.

MPS 3v3 Tournament Series

The 3v3 Tournament Series are run as affilliates of the "Challenge 3v3 Tour", "3v3 Live" and "Kick-it 3v3" and will take place in New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. As an affilliate of the three 3v3 tournaments, the top teams from each division will qualify to compete at either the Challenege 3v3 National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Disney World, or one of the 3v3 Live or Kick-it 3v3 Regional qualifers for their Championships.

Soccerween

Soccerween is an MPS Halloween tournament held in Lancaster, MA. The tournament started in 2009 and within a year had grown to over 60 teams competitng in the end of year tournament with a empthasis on fun. The theme of the tournament is for players to play in costume, and to enjoy the spirit of Halloween whilst playing for their teams in a competitive environment. Last year saw over 85 teams comepte in this fun-filled event!

Thanksgiving College Showcase

The MPS Thanksgiving College Showcase has been a huge success since its inception in 2009. The tournament has grown from strength to strength, and last year saw over 180 college coaches in attendance watching over 185 teams. Held in five locations in MA, on turf facilities, the tournament generates huge interest for both players and college coaches alike.

MPS Summer Jamboree

The MPS Summer Jamboree is a new tournament from MPS. This summer tournament is held for elite players aged U8-U12. The event will be held at Citizens Bank field, Lancaster, MA; and provides a high quality of competition for players as their Spring season comes to a close.

New England Alumni Tournament for Malia

The New England Alumni Tournament for Malia is an adult 5v5 tournament put on with the aim of raising funds for a great cause. The tournament will be held at Parsons Field on the campus of Northeastern University on March 10, 2012.
